We would like to introduce a case where we received a request from a customer to improve a filter press that was previously manufactured at another factory. After contacting the customer and meeting to examine the actual product, we confirmed that because there was only one support pillar in the center, while the liquid was effectively pressed near the center pillar, other areas were not being fully squeezed. Among the three improvement methods proposed, it was decided to increase the number of support pillars to three.
